Pharmasync// ABOUT 0.5

WHAT THIS IS

Pharmasync is a free, public, no-login view of UK medicine supply: shortages, Serious Shortage Protocols, restricted-export designations and price concessions, filtered to the medicines a pharmacy actually stocks. Every value on the site is computed from published data — nothing is invented.

A severity tier is never Pharmasync's opinion. It is the highest government act currently in force — a notification, a restriction, a protocol — with its source, it can be checked.

01

What it is not

No clinical contentNo substitution, dosing or treatment advice, anywhere on the site. The clinical layer is linked to, never reproduced.
No patient dataEvery figure is aggregate and public. A stock profile lives in this browser and is never sent anywhere.
No accountsNothing to sign up for, nothing to log into. There is no server-side identity to lose, sell, or be compelled to hand over.
No gated scrapingOnly public sources, on an allow-list checked at build time. Login-gated clinical content is refused by construction.
No monetisationNo paid tier, no advertising, no data sale. The tool is the output — nothing here is a funnel.
02

Who it's for

Pharmacy teamsManagers and dispensers checking what changed overnight for the medicines they stock.
Owners and contractorsFinancial exposure to price concessions, at a glance.
Researchers and trade pressCitable, provenance-clean figures, without requesting access.
Machine agentsA public API and MCP server reading the same artefacts a person sees, with the same source on every value.
03

Boundary and licence

Pharmasync is not a clinical decision-support tool, has no intended medical purpose, and is not an accessory to one. It aggregates published administrative and logistics acts — it does not interpret them clinically. Substitution and dosing questions sit with the Specialist Pharmacy Service.
